Hi!, Mary

I took the liberty of circulating your request (actually Harry's reply
because I did not see the original) to a list of museum people I have here
in SA. Yhis is a reply from my brother.

You may be able to do something in the garden. If you're interested and want
further details drop me a line and I'll see I can come up with some contact
details, E, snail or voicemail.

Cheers, Glyn Balkwill

Kirstenbosch very definitely has a blind trail, concentrating on
scents and textures of plants.
I think there is also something in the Karoo Botanic Garden.

There is also a tour for the handicapped focussing on lichens at
Blyderivierspoort Nature Reserve. Martin Filmer (I think) is someone
who did or does work for the old TPA nature conservation and had personal
handicaps. He and his wife do a lot of work to make the environment
accessible to the handicapped. I am sorry I cannot give any more
detailed leads.

Cheers

Kevin
