The Kendall Whaling Museum is pleased to announce the 1997 Scrimshaw
Collector's Weekend which has been scheduled for 20-21-22 June.

The Kendall Whaling Museum collectors' weekends are the only forum where
collectors, curators, dealers, and other enthusiasts gather to confer
about the whalers’ distinctive and evocative occupational art form. Our
purpose has been to nurture enlightened appreciation of scrimshaw as an
art form and as an historical pursuit.
