ASSISTANT MUSEUM MANAGER
Las Cruces Railroad Museum / Branigan Cultural Center 
FULL-TIME, City of Las Cruces, NM

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:  Bachelor's degree in museum studies, art,
history, education or closely related field plus one year experience
planning, coordinating, and operating educational and/or exhibition
activities or special events in a museum, historic site, park, or
visitor center, including one year supervisory experience.

Requires:  Professional level abilities to implement museum programs and
to professionally communicate with diverse populations.  Strong
management, planning, budgeting, decision-making, & time management
skills.  Ability to:  Perform a broad range of supervisory
responsibilities over staff & volunteers. Strong interest in local and
RR history essential. Flexible schedule & regularly works weekends.

Hiring Range:  $33,345.70-$41,306.24 plus generous benefits
