There's an impressive "black Museum" of fakes and forgeries at the
national Association des Fabricants (long-established design and copyright
trade protection organisation) in Paris, of which the CEO is Elisabeth Des
Portes, former ICOM Secretary-General ([log in to unmask]).

The Paris wine museum after a chequered history is now run by a number of
leading wine merchants and restauranteurs I believe. Also there are
numerous smaller wine museums either at individual chateaux or regional
centres, e.g. the very interesting museum of Muscadet in the Musee Peter
Abelard, Le Pallet, supported by the leading local producer Ch. La
Galissoniere, amongst others.
