Catherine,
Try AAM.  They have some sort of guide that tells about museum studies
programs and what level they are (i.e. masters, certificate, etc)

If you want to know about what school require check out the "Guide to
American Graduate Schools" by Harold R. Doughty.  I think this book
covers all possible fields for graduate programs.
