Thank you so very much for the many postings we have received so far
(keep them coming) in regards to conducting background investigative
checks.  One question  (or two)  here......

Has there been any legal ramifications between parties when a museum asks
the potential volunteers to consent to background checks and/or drug tests?

Is is against the first amendment or any other part of our legal system?


Any input will be welcome as our Volunteer & Docent Management Manual is
currently under "construction" as is our permanent building!
