The Museum of New Mexico has a WWW site of all the museums, parks,
archives, and monuments that could be found.Included in this "New Mexico's
Cultural Treasures" site is institutional information such as phone
numbers, etc. Also included is summary informatiom on collections. A
hardcopy book will follow later this fall.
We believe that New Mexico is the first American state to attempt universal
statewide coverage of its art institutions. More significantly, we hope
that this project is the first of many such on-line cultural efforts which
provide museum access to a wider audience in a different form.
If you care to check out the site (http://www. nmculture.org), you can send
us your comments.
Hope you enjoy it.
Salud!
Alex
