Hello,

My name is Claire Grothe. I'll be graduating from Truman State University
with a bachelor of arts degree in history next May. I'm eager to pursue a
career in museums, so I'll be applying to several graduate programs this
autumn/winter.

In particular, the Winterthur Program in Early American Culture, through the
University of Delaware, caught my eye. I have an interest in material
culture/artifact studies, especially during the colonial/revolutionary
period, so the program appeals to me on several levels. It's obviously an
extremely competitive, prestigious fellowship, and I wanted to seek out more
information on it. I was wondering if any alumni/staff of the Winterthur
program happened to post here. Any impressions, feedback, or suggestions
would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for your time.

Claire Grothe
