Please excuse this Friday afternoon rant, but for the umpteenth time, I
have read a posting which uses some abbreviation or acronym which is vital
to the understanding of part of the message, yet whose meaning is totally
unknown and impossible to deduce from the text of the message.

REMEMBER: there are many members on this list who are not familiar with
many organizational acronyms, particularly the  American ones.  PLEASE make
the effort to type out fully the name referred to in the acronym AT LEAST
ONCE in your message so those of us who are unfamiliar with it at least
have a chance to know what you are talking about.
