Re: the painted mural on the Battleship Texas- It sounds like you should
find a conservator who can look at the actual problem. I would be very
reluctant to take the advice of someone who would prescribe a treatment
over the Internet that you could self-administer. To do so would be to risk
turning your valued artifact into an expendable lab experiment. There are
some very good conservators in Texas. You should be able to find some leads
at the American Institute for Conservation web-site at:
