As you may know, the Children's Own Museum will be closing its doors on
August 30th, 2002.  The Board of Directors has decided to sell the museum's
exhibits and collection and all proceeds will be going towards their search

GARAGE SALE!

On Friday August 16, 2002 from 10:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. we will have a garage
for all small cash and carry items.  This sale will happen RAIN or SHINE at
our museum. CASH only.  Come have a look at a large selection of used books,
brand new puzzles, small toys, coat racks, storage bins, stationary supplies
and much much more!

AUCTION!

From September 6th 2002 to September 13th 2002 we will have a complete list
of all our exhibit items on www.ebay.ca.  Every item will have a full
picture and description.  Please call me to arrange for a tour if you wish
to view the items in our museum before August 30th, 2002.

The following will be the TERMS and CONDITIONS of the auction:
Shipping method:
The buyer pays all packing, crating, shipping and duties to the US or
Canada. The item cannot be removed from the building unless payment has been
made.
Here are the two options:
1) Pick up in person:
The buyer must arrange for an appointment to pick up the item in person at
the Children's Own Museum between Monday, September 16, 2002 to Friday,
September 20, 2002 (inclusive), during the hours of 10am to 5pm EST.
The Children's Own Museum is located in downtown Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

2) Delivery:
The buyer arranges to have an agent come and pick up the item and arranges
for shipping from the Children's Own Museum. The agent or representatives
must arrange to come between Monday, September 16, 2002 to Friday, September
20, 2002 (inclusive), during the hours of 10am to 5pm EST.
The Children's Own Museum is not responsible for:
- dismantling
- packing
- crating
- shipping
items and any costs involved with the above.

Payment methods:
Accepted Payment Methods:
Credit Card - Visa, Mastercard, American Express. Shipment after payment is
clear.
Items must be paid for between Monday, September 16, 2002 to Friday,
September 20, 2002 (inclusive), during the hours of 10am to 5pm EST. To pay
for your items, the buyer must call the Children's Own Museum with their
credit card number during the hours of 10am to 5pm on those days. The
transaction will then be processed while on the phone.
Buyer pays all shipping costs and duties to the US or Canada.

Terms and Conditions:
Buyer must arrange for the item to be picked up from the Children's Own
Museum (in downtown Toronto, Ontario, Canada) on or before Friday, September
20, 2002. No exceptions will be made to this rule.
Item is sold as is. Final sale, no refunds or exchanges. Ask seller
questions before making your bid.
