A few weeks ago there was a thread regarding furniture care workshops and I
promised information. Now that I've found the info, I've lost the name of
the interested party, so I'm broadcasting in the hopes that he will pick
this up.

A workshop on Conservation of Furniture and Wooden Objects was given by
Marc Williams, American Institute for Conservation of Historic and Artistic
Works and President, American Conservation Consortium, Ltd., Fremont, NH at
Restoration '96 in Baltimore. You might check if he is scheduled for the
October restoration event in Chcago, being held in conjunction with the
50th National Preservation Conference of the National Trust for Historic
Preservation.
