     I've been to Pompeii, but not the museum in Naples.  I understand
that they took almost everything "moveable" and put it in the museum.
 Pompeii is big, and it was a day's wandering around to see it -
really amazing.

     I would like to go back to see the museum.

     So maybe it depends on your interests - seeing the artifacts or
wandering around the amazing town?  Also hopefully with the guided
tour, you will have time to wander on your own as well.
