Development Gift Processor

        The Children's Museum, Boston seeks a Development Gift Processor.
This position is responsible for the accurate and prompt recording of all
Membership information and gifts, and the personalization and distribution
of Membership cards and Library coupons.  The Development Gift Processor
provides data entry support for all Development Division database activities
and revises and maintains documentation of data entry procedures.  He/she
provides the Visitor Services Division with a timely and accurate list of
Members. The Development Gift Processor provides back-up administrative
support to the Membership Department.


Qualified candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, at least one
year in an office setting, professional data entry experience, data entry
speed of at least 50 WPM, strong working knowledge of Windows based computer
applications, mastery of Word and Excel. This person should be well
organized, a creative problem solver, able to work independently and able to
maintain a calm demeanor in a fast paced environment. This person must be
able to maintain strict confidentiality. Ability to speak and read multiple
languages a plus.  Hours will be flexible, 19 hours/week.
