The New York Times Travel section today says that the Philadelphia Convention
and Visitors Bureau has set up a Cezanne phone line: 800 752-8206.
Also Amtrak and USAir are offering discounted fares to Philadelphia. Riders
on Amtrak can subtract 10 percent from the best available fare on conventional
service and on selected Metroliners by calling 800 872-7245 and asking for
fare order X-652. They also say that fifteen Philadelphia hotels are
offering packages that include VIP tickets to the Cezanne exhibition.
Regular tickets to the exhibit are available at the museum or by calling
(215) 235-7469 from 9AM to 8:30 PM, seven days a week. A museum spokesman
recommends calling after 7 PM. The tickets are $12.50; $9.50 for seniors
and students. They say that regular tickets tend to be sold out several
weekends in advance.
