Claude Moore Colonial Farm in Virginia used to have one (I was an
11-year-old volunteer the year they built it) but I don't know if it's still
there. It was rather small but visitors were allowed to climb down the
ladder and look around at the various vegetables stored there. Sorry I don't
have the contact info.

Subject: Root Cellar

There is a root cellar on our historic site. The choices are to interpret as
a root cellar or to just use the building and
put farm displays inside. Does anyone have a root cellar on their property,
is it open to the public and how is it used?
Thanks,
Bill Maurer
