We've always felt this way at the Art Center, and accordingly we do NOT
block off our galleries when we re-install.  People like to watch the
process, and we don't get enough foot traffic through (not even
through--just around) to make it unsafe for the art or obnoxious for those
working.  They DO become more engaged, and I've noticed our regulars telling
their friends and classmates, "Guess how that's done..."  Makes the
experience richer.

BTW, although we feel this is one of our unique features as an organization,
when we tried to express this on a recent IMS-GOS grant we got zapped for it.
