Dear all!

Would anyone out there have a contact in France at the Chateau de
Compiegne (about 60 miles NE of Paris)? As part of our expansion project
here at the Library we are reproducing the White House East Room - the bas
reliefs in the room were taken from the original reliefs at the Chateau.
There is concern that the many paint layers on the East Room reliefs might
not give us a true picture of the originals - the powers that be would
like to get permission to send someone out there to photograph the reliefs
(this person happens to be conveniently located in Paris at the moment).
If anyone can help us with that, please contact Kevin Cartwright here at
the Library - [log in to unmask]

I myself will be gone next week so please do contact Kevin or our exhibits
designer Erik Christman ([log in to unmask]) Any help is greatly
appreciated! : )
