I work in the Transvaal Museum, Pretoria, South Africa and we oftern
lend photographs for publications. I charge a R 50.00 handling fee
plus a fee if the slide goes lost. This is to be paid when the
material/ slide/photograph goes lost and it is the current replace
value. We are busy working on a copyright policy and agreement
document. We do expect a copy of the publication/video or film in
which the slide was used. As the material go out on loan it must be
returned. We then expect them to acknowledge the Transvaal Museum
in the publication/ film/ video. They must always use a courier as
well.
