I agree, and we didn't even think about it.  I only mentioned it as an
indication of the intensity of the reaction, although I realize this is
not at all an unusual occurrence for museums these days.

On Friday an article on the controversy came out in the local suburban
paper.  The Bay area news radio station, KCBS, promptly sent out a
reporter and ran a story at least a few times Friday.  Saturday was quiet
for some reason; today a TV news station sent a photographer (who was
going to be in the area anyway).  It'll be interesting to see if things
die down or blow up in the coming days and weeks.
