I sent this out last fall but was disappointed in the response, so I
thought I would do it again to see if I could catch further interest. My
questions remain the same, but now having visited quite a few museums in
the mid-west I am narrowing these expeditions to University museums. I
can't see everything though, so I would very much appreciate hearing from
folks on this list. I have found no comprehensive list of new museum
additions so am always interested in learning about those of which I know
nothing. The hidden ones seem to be those designed by a local architect,
rather than an iconic one. Many thanks Sacie Lambertson

My original query:
I am doing background research for a museum that will build a major
addition. Interested in many aspects of this problem, in particular I
would like to hear, off or on-line, from people who are currently working in a
newly built museum or addition about how it works for them. Is the new
space suitable, for exhibits, for working in, for the public? Why or
why not? Who was the architect? I would appreciate having an email
conversation with thoughtful respondents. Thanks, Sacie Lambertson
