Announcement:  Part-time Position

Education Assistant to manage docent, tour and children's programs at the
Octagon (The Museum of the American Architectural Foundation), a recently
restored federal style house museum In Washington, DC.  We are looking for
someone with: great people skills for working with staff, docents, teachers,
group tour leaders, and visitors/participants; training and/or experience in
museum education; and an interest in/knowledge of architecture, preservation,
and/or Washington history.

Currently a 20-hour per week position, there is a strong opportunity to expand
hours and involvement in program development and implementation by year's end.
Position pays $10 per hour and is available immediately.
