yep, ditto on the trendy names.  I guess if you call a place Roanoke Island Festival Park you deserve to be thought of as a theme park <sigh>  Why not call a place what it is????  Roanoke Island State Historic Park would be fine with me or Roanoke Island Living History Center...whatever.  Festival Park just screams waterslide and bumper cars!  Something for the marketing folks to consider perhaps?  It's a lot easier to sell a concept if you don't have to explain it first.
