As a recent (December 1998) Museum Science Masters Graduate... I utilized
postings placed by the university I attended in TX. I mostly had to look on
my own, although I did not specifically ask for help from the program. I
utilized aviso, any other association newsletters available, I joined SEMC
and FAM as I was looking specifically for a job in FL, and I extensively
researched job sites on the internet which turned out to be the one of the
best resources! I had a job waiting for me when I graduated. It takes a lot
of hard work to find a job and a lot of perserverance as there are more
candidates than jobs available as the museum field is a rather competitive
one.

Hope this helps!

Sincerely,
  Ginger M. Young, Registrar
