Scholarships are available for the Learning in Museums Seminar,
September 25-27, 1999 to full-time employees of museums with annual
operating budgets of $350,000 or less.  The scholarship includes
registration to the seminar and a stipend not to exceed $400 to assist with
travel and lodging costs only.  The deadline for application is Wednesday,
August 11th.  Application information is available under Professional

        Also, the early bird registration deadline to receive the discounted
registration rate for Learning in Museums is August 24th.  The last date to
register for the conference is September 17th.  Registration information is

        The Learning in Museums Seminar is sponsored by AAM in cooperation
with the Museum of the Rockies.
