Bravo, Mr. Dewey.  You are an excellent spokesman for an intelligent
analysis of the issue.  For museum professionals -- especially museum
professionals from museums whose mission pertains to or is related to the
US Military -- to say that the issue at the center of American political
life today is not pertinent to our professional work is absurd and
disingenuous.

Perhaps staff from the Ostrich Museum could say that the subject of sand
is not germane.  Or the Vampire Museum staff suggesting that the issue of
light is anathemic.
