The Connecticut Humanities Council is pleased to bring Nina Simon, author of The Participatory Museum and the popular Museum 2.0 blog, and Jim Leach, Chairman of the National Endowment for the Humanities, to Connecticut on Monday, April 18, 2011, for a day of inspirational programming.



In the morning, Simon will introduce some of the big ideas in audience participation for organizations of all types--including museums, libraries, and arts agencies.  In the afternoon, she will lead a hands-on workshop for museums to increase visitor engagement and participation around artifacts.  Plus, join Chairman Leach for a lunchtime discussion about civility in America today.
