To the preparators and designers out there,
I'm fabricating some shadow boxes to display some small ( 3" to 7" )
pre-Columbian figures. Some refer to them as "flats". The feet are to be
rested on a shallow wooden ledge and the figure held in place with a
loop of braided wire threaded in a clear plastic tubing. What I'm trying
to come up with is an alternative to the wire & tubing. It's just a
little too distracting visually. I'm not to fond of wire armatures in
shadow boxes either. Also I'm trying to stay clear of monofiliment, it
can abraid and it's longevity(sp?)
is questionable.
Anybody got a real "slick trick" out there I'm not thinking of???
