On a similar note, I had a delicate lace Edwardian overblouse to mount, and
of course, no money or existing forms.

So, I used clear Lucite pieces taped together with clear strapping tape. Once
the sheer blouse was draped on it, you could see nothing underneath.

I started with a standing holder you usually use for a sign (8.5x11). We had
some 6 or 8" tube lying around, so I taped one on each top corner at an angle
suggesting a natural shoulder line. Stood this contraption on a small cube
wrapped in the case lining cloth, added the blouse, and with a little
fluffing, it looked great.

(Wish I had a smaller waist, but 18" -- no thank you!)

Best of luck!!! Laura Bajuk
