Program Assistant

The MIA seeks a person to provide administrative and program support to the Public Programs department.  Duties include:  handle all aspects of departmental mailings, manage database, assist with class registration and materials, handle phone inquiries about class programs, provide word processing, data entry and other administrative and secretarial duties for the department.  Requirements include:  HS degree, with college degree in business or arts and humanities preferred;  2 years of related office experience; proficient in Word, Excel, and Dbase; typing of 60 wpm; good written and verbal communication skills, and ability to handle several projects at once.
