Deadline Reminder - January 31, 2005

The Association of Midwest Museums (AMM) is accepting session proposals
(forums, workshops, seminars, presentations, roundtables, debates, etc.)
for the 2005 conference. The conference, Museums and Success, is
scheduled for October 26-28, 2005 at the Hilton Netherland Plaza Hotel in
Cincinnati, OH. The deadline for submission of proposals is Monday,
January 31, 2005. You can download a proposal form at the AMM web site at
<www.midwestmuseums.org>. Please submit completed proposals by mail or
fax to:

The 2005 AMM Conference, Museums and Success, will explore the many facets
of museum operations, and how museums are incorporating new initiatives
and building upon success as well as measuring outcomes. Sessions and
workshops will explore multiple ways in which museums define and measure
success. We invite proposals that examine different points of view,
involve innovative thinking, and provide new approaches to problem-
solving. Presenters should represent a variety of museums, disciplines,
and a diversity of museum sizes. Speakers outside of the industry are
encouraged to submit proposals. Additional conference information can be
downloaded from the AMM web site.

For your convenience, we have included a sample list of proposed topics
for your consideration. We encourage the submission of additional topics
that address the theme of museums and success. If you need help
identifying co-presenters, we will help you find additional speakers for
your session.
