Part-Time Gallery Assistant
For our renowned gallery of African and African-American art we are seeking
a part time assistant.  The successful candidate will work approximately 3
days a week assist the gallery manager in all matters of running the gallery
including filing and data entry;  internal scheduling and correspondence,
support for auction-related projects; events and openings; databases;
research and related activities; other duties as required.  The ideal
candidate will have at least 3 years experience in gallery or auction house
and excellent organizational, communications and research skills.  BA in art
history required; French and Photoshop strongly preferred.  Some familiarity
with African art a plus.  An excellent chance to work with one of the
