Hi Margaret,

For a great resource on university museums and how they interact with
their academic hosts can I suggest the UMAC sub committee of ICOM.

They have a web site at http://publicus.culture.hu-berlin.de/umac/

Even though they are a relatively young international group they have
had annual conferences for the last few years and many of the
papers/abstracts are archived and accessible through the above URL.

Cheers

Andrew

Hello--

I am working on a presentation to University faculty about
Museum/Faculty collaborations at a University Museum--anything from
classes taught at the museum, to student assignments to exhibitions.
I'm using examples from my own institution throughout, but want to
include examples from other places. There was a great conference at
the Tang that covered some of this as well.

Does anyone have any examples they'd be interested in sharing?
Anything--from a brief description to an article to a link to a
website--is appreciated. And it does not always have to be positive!

Thanks!
