We also send material out in "kits". We've been doing this for 30+
years. Mostly boxing specimens up and sending them out. Now we're
adding reference material, acitivities, etc. We don't charge and
require teachers to pick up & return the boxes to our building. We
cover topics like rocks, minerals, fossils, dinosaurs, Native
     Americans, etc.

If I can help further, please let me know. I've asked around to other
institutions and have gathered lots of information on what others are
doing. I'd also like to hear what people are doing to help us as
     well.

Mr. Chadwick,

I can't seem to get this message through. I tried the "O.K." thing (w/out
the quotes). Can you help?

Hello-

I am interested in finding out more about educational kits which museums
rent to schools. I spoke with someone @ the Shelburne Museum about this.
Does anyone else out there have info. about this which would pertain to
creating some of these kits? I am interested in making some of these and
need more information. Are any of your museums interested in having some
of these?

Thanks in advance for your help.
