Yes, I, too, would consider messages to the list rather like a
letter to the editor--fair game to forward anywhere (including
another list, I think--in fact, some general queries or warnings
include encouragement to forward the message anywhere).
 
A personal message is a different matter.  I treat them like
personal (snail mail) letters and (as a rule) get permission before
sending them on to someone else.
