As statewide services curator at the Louisiana State Museum, I am wondering
about other states that have formal assistance programs for small and
emerging museums. I offer a free consultation service to any museum in
Louisiana or group trying to start a museum that is interested in
professional help. I travel around the state helping museums with
administration, collections management, exhibits, and fund raising.

I am interested in discussing trends with other states that have similar
programs and sharing resources. If anyone knows of similar programs in
other states, please let me know.

Thanks

L. Timothy Lupin, Curator of Statewide Services
