Registrar Vacancy at NEDCC

Northeast Document Conservation Center seeks a full-time Registrar. The
position involves coordinating the movement, storage and recording of all
client material that comes to the Center.  Candidates should possess an
exceptional attention to detail, expertise in packing and shipping artistic
and archival materials, knowledge of fine-arts insurance, and a willingness
to travel throughout New England.  Proficiency with an objects database,
skill in operating personal computers, and familiarity with shipping
software are necessary.  Effective communication skills are essential, as
this position requires a high level of interaction with institutional and
private clients.  The Center needs an individual capable of managing several
tasks concurrently. Minimum requirements include a Bachelor of Arts degree
in art history, museum studies or related field, and three years museum
registrarial or relevant experience.  Competitive salary and benefits.
