About the annual meeting
AAM's 92nd Annual Meeting & MuseumExpo97 will be held April 26-30,1997 in
Atlanta, Georgia at the Georgia World Congress Center. More than 5,000 museum
professionals are expected to attend. The five day meeting will include 145
program sessions; 150 committee and affiliate meetings; 15 evening events and
additional tours of Atlanta's museums and sites; and MuseumExpo97, the
largest gathering of museum suppliers in the nation.
Come to Atlanta! Learn from your peers about what works and what doesn't in
such disciplines as development, education, exhibits, and curation. Share
mutual concerns about day to day challenges. Network at special breakfasts,
lunches, and evening events. Access the latest information and resources at
the job placement office, bookstore, and Internet Forum. Expand your
knowledge and sharpen skills to stay competitive in an ever-changing world.
All AAM members will receive information about attending AAM's Annual

Registration fees for the 1997 annual meeting:
Delegate $240
$300 if postmarked after February 21, 1997
Spouse/Guest $120
$150 if postmarked after February 21, 1997
Student $105
$145 if postmarked after February 21, 1997
These fees cover all registration materials, admission to program sessions,
and entry to MuseumExpo97. There will be separate fees for tours and optional
events. Delegates can purchase tickets only for the days they are registered.
MuseumExpo97
More than 285 museum suppliers will be participating as exhibitors in
MuseumExpo97. Suppliers will be exhibiting in the following product
categories: collections management, digital imaging, insurance, shipping,
traveling exhibitions, interactives, exhibit design, simulation, web site
design, lighting design, security, archival supplies, display systems,
storage, etc. If you know of a company or supplier that may be interested in
