Microsoft claims that Access 2.0, 95, and 97 all are year-2000 compliant if
4-digit years are used, but that Access 2.0 is not compliant if 2-digit
dates are used.  We've tested Access 97 fairly rigorously, and found that
it functions just as Microsoft describes.  Its handling of 2-digit years is
a tad complicated, and Access 95's is even more so, so it probably is best
to stick with 4 digits.  Microsoft provides extensive info on Year 2000
