Hi Laurel

A friend of mine has just finished his MA on seventeenth and eighteenth
century bottles at ferryland, newfoundland so i can ask him if he has a
reference disc that i could send as an attachment. offhand, a good one to
contact/references to find is Olive Jones, she works at Parks Canada
(perphas, don't quote me ont hat one) but she has come up with some
amazing measurement theories about identification. for what you need,
you'll find lots of info, i know there is a good soda bottle article in
post-medieval archaeology. so, go through the series of historical
archaeology if you have it nearby and post-medieval, there should be lots.
most historical archaeological site analyses and reports will include
bottle analysis.

anyway, hope that helps
adrienne
