I belong to the Los Angeles Historical
Bottle Club, and I've seen a few fire
extinguishers brought by club members or
guest speakers. From what I've heard, the
bottles were filled with some liquid (not
sure what type), and the bottles were hurled
at the base of the fire. Some extinguishers
are imprinted with instructions for use.

I will bring it up at our next meeting and
see if I can find out any more info.
