I have been fortunate to have been able to spend several months studying with
the help of a Smithsonian Fellowship in Museum Practice. I looked at
repatriation activities in Canada and the United States museums. I would
like to publicly thank, for their time and generosity, those colleagues who
shared their experiences and opinions with me, in Washington, Toronto, Ottawa,
Calgary, Edmonton, Vancouver, Victoria, Sante Fe and Albuquerque.

My question to the List is:

Having done your NAGPRA inventories, did you locate in your collections any
ethnographic or archaeological material from Yukon Canada? This material would
be associated with groups previously refered to as Han, Athabaskan, Northern
Tuchone, Southern Tuchone, Tanana, Tagish, Tinglit, Chilcat, Chilkoot, and other
terms.

If you have anything, a simple "yes" would be a great help, sent to my e-mail
address [log in to unmask] I'll get back to you.

thanks in advance.
