We haven't used them, but I've heard of museum using
nylon/ mesh pinnies similar to those used in P.E.
classes. They slip on over the kid's clothes. I my
experience, even if they have a camp t-shirt, kids
often will not waer it on the designated day.  I know
you can get the pinnies at S&S Worldwide
(www.ssww.com) and I'm sure other places carry them
too.
