The Cooperstown Graduate Program also offers a masters degree in History
Museum Studies. It is a generalist program, providing solid experience and
knowledge in all aspects of museum work. Students specialize in
collections, administration, etc. As an alum, I can highly recommend this
program! For more information, you can contact the program at
607/547-2586. They are located in upstate New York.

Also, Eastern Illinois University has an excellent museums studies
program--very similar in philosophy to the Cooperstown Program. For more
information, contact Terry Barnhart at 217/581-5224. He's a swell guy and
will no doubt answer any questions you might have.

GWU and JFK are also programs with good national reputations. You have a
lot to choose from--best wishes in your search!
