Mannekins answering questions...sounds absolutely awful. If you want to
provide "canned responses" to common questions, a computer interface using
some sort of hypertext would be better. You give up the phoniness of the
mechanical people, and give some control to the visitor as to what questions
they might ask. Then the "canned" responses can use graphics, photos, sounds
and they can be revised, added to, deleted relatively easily.
