Hi,

There is an entry for the Science Museum in my book Children's Museums, Zoos,
and Discovery Rooms: An International Reference Guide (New York: Greenwood
Press, 1987), pp 27-28. At the end of the entry are citations to several
articles found in journals/books available in libraries or via interlibrary
loan. There are also a few less accessible items cited that were provided by
the museum at the time I was working on the book.

Their Children's Gallery opened in December 1931 and was supplemented by
Launch Pad in 1986.
