The Museum of Underwater Archaeology is happy to announce the latest contribution to the site: "Jamestown Island Survey" from Jodi Carpenter, MA Candidate at East Carolina University. In a timely topic, Jodi participated in a Phase I survey of the shoreline area at Jamestown Island, Virginia, celebrating its 400th anniversary this month. Jodi's research helps link Jamestown's colonial past with its more recent maritime history, incorporating oral history with archaeological survey.
