Hello again! I am once again coming forward with a tool I have never
encountered. It is a hand-made tool that may have been created for a
specific reason for that person. It may be a lamp, or a cigar lighter. The
person who donated the items in the 1930s also gave several cigar related
artifacts. This is my not so wonderful description. The base of this copper
can is about the size of a present day Sterno can (for use under chafing
dishes.) Sautered to the top of the can is a tapered tube. The end of the
tube is smaller where it meets the edge of the can. There is also a small
hole at the smaller tapered end of this tube. Sound familiar. Let me know.
Thanks. Liz (If this isn't clear I will send a better description.)
