Hopefully the " i need a job" fiasco is over. Well i do have some
questions. I am currently an intern for the State of New Jersey, working at
two historic sites. If anyone read the August 4th New York times article
entitled"A State With A History of Looking Over It's Past" anf Senator
Rodney Frelinghusen's response to it on August 11th , you will see how this
State really does not have any concern for historical preservation. With
that said, the Historical site I am currently at is seeking advice on how
to properly clean the many pieces of furniture in the house. Most of it is
Ware furniture, chairs and tables. I have suggested they hire a conservator
to look over the collection, but budget constraints is the answer. Does
anyone have any suggestions i may pass on ? Thanks,
Jim
