In this moment "my" museum is considering the possibility of getting color
photocopies of
photographs, so the originals could be kept in good temperature/humidity/light
conditions,
while this copies could be consulted and used with no limitations.
The problem is that we know nothing about characteristics of color photocopies.
Do they last long? Do they loose colour? Should we plastify it (tranparent
pelicule)?
How to keep it? Is that a good idea? Does anyone use this system?
Here, the price of color photocopies is still expensive, and when we have to
deal with
thousands of photos...
